A guide to connect XP-M4L controller with card readers.

XP-M4L controller is able to support three (3) different ways to connect to card readers:
1. Connect to Plato readers directly
2. Connect to readers via XP-MK800E
3. Connect to third party readers directly

For first time connection between XP-M4L controller with reader.

  • To connect XP-M4L controller to Plato readers directly:

Step 1: Please follow the wiring diagram as shown below:

Step 2: The table below indicates the Plato reader address settings and the corresponding lift panel number.

  • To connect XP-M4L controller to readers via XP-MK800E:
