Summary
Step-by-step Guide:
To download fingerprint templates enrolled in XP-GT controllers to xPortalNet software database:
Step 1: Go to xPortalNet Client > Device Comm > Send Staff Setting.

Step 2: The Send Staff Setting window will be shown as below. Check the controller checkbox to retrieve the fingerprint templates from, specify the card number to be retrieved, and click Get Template.

Step 3: The Delivery Report window will be shown. Wait until the Delivery Report prompts the download process is complete before clicking Close to continue.

Step 4: The Communication Retrieval Result window will be shown to indicate the number of templates downloaded / retrieved from the controller. Click Close to continue.

Step 5: At the Get Template Retrieval Result window, all information and template data will be shown. Check the checkbox of Overwrite to overwrite the existing fingerprint template of the specified user. Click OK to save the changes.

Step 6: The following message window will be shown to indicate that the Record is Updated. Click OK to continue. The retrieved fingerprint template has been stored in the software database.

To download fingerprint templates enrolled in XP-GT controllers to xPortal3000 software database:
Step 1: Go to xPortal3000 Client > Device Comm > Send Card Setting.

Step 2: The Send Staff Setting window will be shown as below. Check the controller checkbox to retrieve the fingerprint templates from, specify the card number to be retrieved, and click Get Template.

Step 3: The Delivery Report window will be shown. Wait until the Delivery Report prompts the download process is complete before clicking Close to continue.

Step 4: The Communication Retrieval Result window will be shown to indicate the number of templates downloaded / retrieved from the controller. Click Close to continue.

Step 5: At the Get Template Retrieval Result window, all information and template data will be shown. Check the checkbox of Overwrite to overwrite the existing fingerprint template of the specified user. Click OK to save the changes.

Step 6: The following message window will be shown to indicate that the Record is Updated. Click OK to continue. The retrieved fingerprint template has been stored in the software database.
