Step 1: Please follow the wiring diagram as below:

  • To configure Door Settings on xPortalNet. (with third party reader connected directly to TTL port):

Warning!

  • Users are not recommended to run any xPortal software in Windows XP operating system as the system is unstable

  • Users are also advised to stop the xPortal Services before shutting down the Server PC to prevent any missing transaction issues.

Step 1: Ensure that the Connection and Controller setup has been completed.

Step 2: For Door Setup, go to Server Admin > System Device Setup > Door > Add. The Add Door window will be shown as below:

Note

  • The setting above is applicable for when the third party reader is connected as entry reader.
  • To assign the third party reader as exit reader, simply set the TTL In Reader as "Not Used", and set the TTL Out Reader as the connected TTL port number
