Solution: | The ColdStart Operation will erase all the memory in the controller and reset all the settings to default. Proceed only if you are sure you want to reset the controller to default settings!. . Summary:

Step 1: Switch off the power for the controller. . Step 2: Upon switching on the reader, it will enter the power up mode. The Red LED will be blinking at this stage for 10 seconds. . Step 3: In the power up mode while the Red LED is blinking, press and hold the exit button for 2 seconds. The controller will then reset to factory default settings. All the card users will also be cleared from the controller memory. . Note The default MasterPIN for MicroEngine standalone controllers is "123456". Users are advised to change the MasterPIN after performing the ColdStart operation. |
