Description:

License for the software can come in two different forms: (i) USB dongle license; (ii) machine license file.

This article will guide users on how to troubleshoot the issue where xPortalNet software failed to authenticate license file.

The software prompted the following messages after loading the license file:

File Cannot be Validated Message

Cause:
  • Invalid License File used
  • License File mismatched with the Server PC machine signature
Solution:

Warning!

  • Users are not recommended to run any xPortal software in Windows XP operating system as the system is unstable

  • Users are also advised to stop the xPortal Services before shutting down the Server PC to prevent any missing transaction issues.
