Door interlocking is an advanced access control feature where in an area with multiple doors, when one of the doors is opened, the rest of the doors cannot be opened until the first door is closed.

Warning!

  • Users are not recommended to run any xPortal software in Windows XP operating system as the system is unstable

  • Users are also advised to stop the xPortal Services before shutting down the Server PC to prevent any missing transaction issues.

Note

For xPortalNet software, the controllers supporting door interlocking are:-

  • XP-M2000i
  • XP-SNET

Step 1: Go to xPortalNet Client > Data Setup > System Setting > Controller > select the controller to do interlocking > Modify. The Edit Controller window will then be shown. In the Interlocking field, select "Yes". Click OK to save the changes.

  • To configure door interlocking in xPortal3000 software:

Note

For xPortal3000, users can only set interlocking on XP-M2000i controller only.

XP-SNET is not supported in xPortal3000 software.

Step 1: Go to xPortal3000 Client > Control Panel > Controller > select the controller to do interlocking > Modify. The Edit Controller window will then be shown. Under the Interlocking field, select "Yes". Click OK to save the changes.
