• To configure HID Omnikey 5427 CK to allow users to read HID iClass Card:

Step 1: Plug in the HID Omnikey 5427 CK reader into the xPortalNet Server PC.

Step 2: Open web browser (Internet Explorer or Chrome) and type the default IP Address for HID Omnikey 5427 CK reader. (Default IP Address: 192.168.63.99)

Step 3: The HID Omnikey 5427 CK welcome page will then be shown.

Step 3: Click on the Keyboard Wedges tab. Under the General Config panel, tick on the option of Keyboard Wedge Enable and Tech order after error.

Step 4: Next, go to Card Data Selection panel. Under the Card Type field, select "HID iClass" option. Under the Custom 1 field, configure the settings as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 5: Go to Card Data Manipulation panel. Under the PACS Customs section, configure the settings following the screenshot below.

Step 6: Users can now test and validate if the HID Omnikey 5427 CK can read the card number. Go to xPortalNet Client > Data Setup > Access Data Setting > Staff Records > Add. The Add Staff Detail window will then be shown. Place the HID iClass Card to be read on to the HID Omnikey 5427 CK. Click Read. The card number read by the HID Omnikey 5427 CK will be shown in the Card No. field
