Cause:

For first time configuration on the xPortalNet software to use with Samsung CCTV system.

Solution:

Warning!

  • Users are not recommended to run any xPortal software in Windows XP operating system as the system is unstable

  • Users are also advised to stop the xPortal Services before shutting down the Server PC to prevent any missing transaction issues.

Note

  • Please ensure that the xPortalNet software is properly installed and that the software database has been initialized.
  • Also, please ensure that the CCTV module dongle license has been plugged in to the xPortalNet Server PC, and that the PC has detected the dongle license.

  • Download and install the Samsung SDK software on xPortalNet Server PC.
