How to Configure XP-SNET Controller to Integrate with Turnstile System

Summary:

• To perform ColdStart after first power up.

• To perform pre-configuration setting on the network connection.

• To configure the IP address via Web Diagnostic.

• To enable check exit reader door accessibility via Web Diagnostic.

• To Configure Connection, Controller, and Door Setting for XP-SNET controller with xPortalNet.

• To configure Door Access Level for Visitor user.

Step-by-step Guide:

• To perform ColdStart after first power up: 

Step 1: Press & hold the COLDSTART button on XP-SNET controller board.

Step 2: Press & release RESET button on XP-SNET controller board.

Step 3: Wait for both STAT and CPU LED to light up at the same time.

Step 4: Release COLDSTART button.

• To perform pre-configuration setting on the network connection.

• To configure the IP address via Web Diagnostic.

• To enable check exit reader door accessibility via Web Diagnostic:

Step 1: Open IE browser (Internet Explorer) and type the XP-SNET's IP address in the address box.

Step 2: Enter the Username and Password and click OK to continue. The Web Diagnostic window will be shown as below. Click Configuration to continue.

Step 3: Scroll down to Door Controller Setup section. Tick the Check exit reader door accessibility checkbox and click Confirm Change Door Setting to continue.

Step 4: Click Log Out to exit from the web diagnostic.
