Solution:

Summary:

  • To disable Fire Alarm in XP-SNET controller.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  • To disable Fire Alarm in XP-SNET controller:

Step 1: Ensure that the fire alarm signal from fire alarm panel is properly terminated at the XP-SNET controller board.

  • XP-SNET controller board's normal operation requires NC contact to the Fire Alarm terminal.
  • XP-SNET controller board's Fire Alarm signal requires NO contact to trigger the Fire Alarm.

Step 2: If fire alarm signal for normal operation (NC contact) is not available at site, users have to terminate a jumper cable to deactivate Fire Alarm Mode on XP-SNET controller board.
