How to Setup Mifare Sector Programming Key and Read & Write Mifare Card ID Number in xPortal3000 Software

Problem (Issue) Statement:

How to setup Mifare sector programming key and read & write Mifare card ID number in xPortal3000 software

Description:

A guide to setup Mifare sector programming key and read & write Mifare card ID number in xPortal3000 software.

For increased access security, Mifare card sector reading is preferred as system users can program the card ID number to the Mifare card sectors for identification to gain door access. The programmed card ID number is also encrypted in the form of the read / write key, which is also programmable by system users.

MicroEngine's xPortal Security Management Software is able to support the full implementations of Mifare card sector ID programming via the encrypted programmable read & write keys. Without the correct read & write keys, other users will not be able to access the contents of the Mifare card sectors.
