Step 1: XP-SNET controller can be configured to operate in two modes which allows users to configure the additional inputs for alarm monitoring purposes: Door access with alarm mode or alarm mode only.
Step 2: Configure the DIP switches for SETTING to assign the operation mode of the XP-SNET controller.

To configure Alarm Controller Setup in xPortalNet Server:Anchor configurealarm configurealarm
Step 1: Go to Server Admin > System Device Setup > Alarm Controller > Add. The Add Alarm Controller window will be shown as below:

To use the internal I/O configuration on XP-SNET controller, the Unit No field MUST be configured to 10. |
Step 2: The following message window will be prompted to show Record is Added. Click OK to continue.

To configure Input Point Setup in xPortalNet Server:Anchor configureinput configureinput
Step 1: Go to Server Admin > System Device Setup > Input Point. The Input Setup window will be shown as below.

Step 2: Click Add to add a new input setup. The Add Input window will be shown as below. Fill in the respective fields and click OK to save changes.

Step 3: The following message window will be prompted to show that Record is Added. Click OK to continue.

Step 4: Users can now proceed to configure built-in output points on the controller and create an Instruction Control configuration to specify the relationship between the Input & Output points.
