    To ensure that the xPortalNet HS Comm Service Controller is running and dongle license has been detected:

Step 1: Launch the xPortalNet HS Comm Service.


Step 2: Ensure that the xPortalNet HS Comm Service Status is Running.

Step 3: Right-click the xPortalNet HS Comm Service Status icon at the notification bar, click Check Service Info and verify that the software has successfully detected the plugged in USB license key.

    To configure setting for connection:

Step 1: Go to xPortalNet HS ServerServer Admin Connection Setup. The Connection Setup window will be shown as below. Click Add to add a new connection.

Step 2: The Add Connection window will be shown as below. Fill up the respective field and click OK to save the changes.

Step 3: The following message window will be prompted to indicated that the record is added. Click OK to continue.

Step 4: Once configuration of connection is completed. Click Close to close the Connection Setup window.

Step 5: The following message window will then be prompted to indicate that the request is submitted to refresh connection points. Click OK to continue.
