Problem (Issue) Statement:

The safest way to delete all card records from the controller

Description:

There are 2 ways to clear all card records stored in the controller.

  1. For controller with programming mode, there is a function to delete the card records provided. Otherwise, you have to Coldstart the controller (reset to factory settings) and it will delete everything in the controller.
  2. Another way is to send Delete Card command from the software. This is the safest way because the card records still remains in the software database and delete card command is only sent to the selected controller(s).
