Symptom and Finding: | Upon investigation in the Visitor Transaction Report, it was discovered that Visitor No 820225XXXXXX's last transaction was on 08/08/2017. When the same visitor (with visitor no 820225XXXXXX) registered a Visitor Card on 10/09/2017, xPortalNet software is unable to retrieve existing visitor information.

Cause: | Prior to xPortalNet v1.5.0.143 (/wiki/spaces/SRN/pages/97157532 and older), the Purge Visitor action deletes visitor information based on date of creation, after the elapsed duration as specified in Purge Visitor Properties window. | ||||||||||
Solution: |
. . Users are to update xPortalNet software to /wiki/spaces/SRN/pages/97354120 and above, as the software has been updated to allow the Purge Visitor action procedure to delete visitor data records based on the last modified date of the visitor records rather than the date of creation.
