Step-by-step Guide:
Step 1: Turn off the power supply to the controller. Step 2: Turn on the power supply to the controller again. The screen below will be shown and the red LED will be blinking for 10 seconds. Step 3: During this 10 seconds period where the red LED is blinking, press and hold the ColdStart button at the back of the reader for approximately 2 seconds until the screen displays the following message. The controller will sound a very long beep. Wait until the ColdStart process completes. Step 4: When the ColdStart process completes, the following Idle Mode screen will be shown. The following table explains the normal response in Idle Mode.
