Symptom and Finding:	When users wished to start the xPortal3000 Server Configuration Manager, the following error message is prompted by the software application: Figure 1: Fail to Check Database Version Error Message
Cause:	Users have installed a newer / older version of Firebird Server that is different from the version installed during the database initialization.
Solution:	Warning! Users are not recommended to run any xPortal software in Windows XP* operating system as the system is unstable* Users are also advised to stop the xPortal Services before shutting down the Server PC* to prevent any missing transaction issues.* . .
