    To enable Fire Alarm Door Release setting:

Step 1: Go to xPortalNet Server > Server Admin > System Properties.


Step 2: The following message window will be shown. Click OK to continue.

Step 4: The Edit System Properties window will be shown. Configure the Fire Alarm Door Release to "Y" and click OK to save the changes.

Step 5: The following message window will be shown to indicate that the Record is Updated. Click OK to continue.

    To configure Fire Alarm Group:

Step 1: Go to xPortalNet Client > Data Setup > System Setting > Fire Alarm Group > Add.


Step 2: The Add Fire Alarm Group window will be shown as below. Fill in the respective fields and click OK to save changes.

Step 3: The following message window will be shown to indicate that the Fire Alarm Group has been added successfully. Click OK to continue. Back at the Fire Alarm Group Setup window, click Close.

    To download Door Settings:

Step 1: Go to xPortalNet Client > Device Comm > Send Door Setting.


Step 2: The Send Door Controller Settings window will be shown. Check the desired controller's checkbox and click Send All Settings.

Step 3: The Delivery Report window will be shown. Please wait for the Send Data and Command process to complete before clicking Close.

    Fire Alarm is triggered:

Step 1: Go to xPortalNet Client > Device List > Controller List. Ensure that all related door controllers from the Fire Alarm Group have the controller status as UP and that the Fire Alarm Status is Normal.

Step 2: Go to Device List > Door List. Ensure that all related door statuses are UP, Security On and Door Closed State.

Step 3: At the Latest Event List window, ensure that the transaction Fire Alarm Off is logged from the master controller under normal condition (Fire Alarm not triggered).

    To observe event transaction after Fire Alarm is triggered:

Step 1: At Latest Event List window, ensure that the transaction Release Doors Upon Fire Alarm, Door Security Off from all related doors and Fire Alarm On is logged from the master controller.

Step 2: Go to Device List > Controller List. The master controller's Fire Alarm status will be shown as Triggered.

Step 3: Go to Device List > Door List. The Current Security status will be shown as Off.

Step 4: At the Latest Alarm Event List, ensure that the Fire Alarm On transaction is logged.

Step 5: Also, ensure that all electromagnetic lock for all physical doors selected in the Fire Alarm Group are released and the electromagnetic lock for the door controlled by the Master Controller is also released.

    To configure the Doors back to normal operation:

Step 1: Go to xPortalNet Client > Device Comm > Send Door Command.

 
Step 2: The Send Door Command window will beshown. Select the door names that are in the Fire Alarm Group List and click Security On.

Step 3: The Delivery Report window will be shown. Wait for the door command sending process to complete and click Close to continue.

Step 4: All physical doors selected in Fire Alarm Group will return to normal, secure operation.
